So, what makes the root beer distinct from other beverages? It is the alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of the drink that make this beverage quite interesting. For those who prefer the soft drink side, it's made of extracts or other flavored syrups with carbonated water. For those who like the alcoholic side, it is the mixture of vanilla, cherry tree bark, licorice fruit, sarsaparilla root, artificial sassafras root bark flavoring, nutmeg, anise, molasses, etc. There are several brands of root beer, and there are also homemade ones, which are actually easy to mix and blend if you feel like having one.

Because of the many brands of root beer, it will surely make you feel dizzy just to choose which one would be a good choice. So, why not try making your own, this way, you'll definitely have what you really want. Once you've tried making your own root beer, you'll definitely realize that it's a good way to bond with the family and even with friends, plus, you'll see that not everything tasty comes from the store. Just make sure that you have all the necessary ingredients, and you're surely ready to start your own delicious root beer.

In making root beer, there are basic ingredients that must be mixed and blended. These are the table sugar or cane sugar, but this can't be substituted with an artificial sweetener because the sugar is required for yeast to generate carbon dioxide that carbonates the beverage. Then, there's the fresh and active yeast, root beer extract, and water. These dew simple ingredients can go a long way to becoming a very delicious drink after a few days' storage and refrigeration.

So, next time, if you're planning to have a party, don't forget that you can actually prepare your own alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There's no need for you to buy everything in can or in bottle because you can do it on your own.
